Answers to the questions our front desk hears most often, before and during a stay.
When can I check in, and when do I need to be out?
Rooms are ready starting at 4 PM, and we ask guests to clear out by 11 AM on departure day. If your travel plans need a little cushion on either end, call the front desk the morning you're arriving or leaving — we'll fit you in around availability whenever we can.
What's the deal with parking?
Overnight guests park for free in our self-parking lot. If you'd rather hand off the keys, valet sits right at the main entrance for a nightly charge. Stopping by just for dinner or the gaming floor? Bring your ticket inside and we'll validate it.
Can I bring my kids, or is this strictly an adult property?
Bring the whole family — the terraces, pool deck, dining rooms, and spa welcome every age. The one exception is the gaming floor itself, which Iowa law limits to guests who are 21 or older.
Can I swim any time of year?
Our indoor pool in the spa wing stays open every month of the year. The outdoor sundeck pool follows the calendar — it opens in May and runs through the end of September, weather permitting.
Are there bundled deals that combine a room with other things to do?
We do — a handful of packages rotate through the year pairing a suite with spa credit, a dining allowance, or match-play at the tables. Whatever's currently running is posted on our packages page.
Can my dog or cat come along?
A small block of rooms is set aside for guests traveling with pets, though there's an added cleaning charge and the rooms go quickly. Give the reservations desk a call ahead of time to hold one.
How accessible is the property for guests with mobility needs?
The whole resort is built with accessibility in mind — accessible suites, ramps and elevators throughout, close-in parking near the entrance, and a pool lift on the deck.
Should I book ahead for dinner, or can I just show up?
Ironwood Chophouse fills up on Friday and Saturday nights, so a reservation there is worth making. Harvest Table, The Landing Grill, and Ace High Lounge take walk-ins, though you might catch a short line on weekend evenings.
Do you take on weddings or big group bookings?
Regularly — anywhere from a 20-seat rehearsal dinner to a 260-guest ballroom reception. Our event venues page breaks down capacities for every space.
How close is Eppley Airfield?
About ten minutes by car, and that includes crossing the river into Omaha. Downtown Council Bluffs is closer still, roughly a five-minute drive.
